Opinion; iPhones vs. DSLRs.

That’s right, iPhones or DSLRs. Which one do you prefer?

Lots of photography fanatics will most definitely choose DSLR, but that’s not to say that using an iPhone (or a bad Samsung camera) won’t also do the job. Living in a time where the people of our generation mainly use phones for taking a quick snap whilst at the beach or on a forest walk, it is more likely that a lot of people won’t understand why others use DSLR cameras for situations where they believe a phone will do just fine.

Besides, phones actually contain a lot more different applications nowadays, where editing is easier and faster than using computer software. This means it’s easier to edit imagery, taken on phones, to then upload to multiple platforms like Instagram or Flickr, where many users now stream their photography for social media use.

DSLRs, despite having such great use and excellent quality, actually have much longer processes to edit imagery as applications like Photoshop and Lightroom are more difficult and longer to run. In a day where lots of people can be quite lazy and try to find easier routes, phone imagery can be more suitable, even when using editing programs like VSCO and Colourtone.
